Hi, I’m Dr. Asmat Ullah Khan a veterinarian, researcher, and passionate pet advocate based in Ottawa.
With years of hands-on clinical experience at West Carleton Animal Hospital and a Ph.D. in Veterinary Anatomy, I created Pawlitic.com to offer something rare in the pet content world — accurate, vet-backed advice for both dogs and cats, written by a real veterinarian who lives it every day.

Asmat Ullah Khan
Dr. Muhammad Haseeb Arshad is a licensed small animal veterinarian with a passion for internal medicine and a mission to make expert pet care accessible to every dog and cat parent.
He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, before moving to Canada in April 2023. After joining Brookfield Veterinary Hospital under a restricted license, he successfully passed the Clinical Proficiency Examination (CPE) in July 2025 — on his first attempt — and is now fully licensed to practise in Canada.
Known for his analytical mind, gentle demeanour, and dedication to detail, Dr. Arshad thrives on solving complex medical cases and building trust with pet families through compassionate, evidence-based care.
